There has always been something very soothing to me about water pics…though I really love the solitary person on the rock mountain. That one says “peace” to me. 🙂
😀 It’s what I was trying to accomplish. That, and to see a clear perspective on how big the boulders are. He is actually looking up making sure the other mountain climbers are good to go.
What a beautiful photo collage! Wonderufl photos from some very special locations. You reminded me that we were supposed to get down to see Marilyn during the holidays and we didn’t make it. I need to schedule our visit for later this month!
I don’t get it, Rommel. I notice that some high schools give the kids a whole wall to ‘decorate’ and certain businesses may do the same. I think that’s a good idea. I have a retired friend who goes out regularly with a can of paint to cover graffiti in public places like bus stops, but he could never get up on top of overpasses and bridges, etc.
hmm, zilch? i think i better go to the eye doctor and get my eyes checked now…hehe, nevertheless, i think one could find a meditative moment in each of your great images. 😉
is that a pelican at the end? it’s cute!
I love the new look Rommel. I would be hard-pressed to choose a favorite photo in this collage. They are all so fabulous. Are you still up for a get-together on the 20th? If so, how about Dana Point at 10am? I am going to talk to a friend who has been there recently to give me an idea of where to meet. Let me know if this works for you.
I know you gonna love the when I tell you that a lot of images here are from Point Reyes. 😀 …. and San Juan Capistrano Mission. 😉
I will forward to meeting the Superstar of RV’ers. 😀
I fell hard for Point Reyes and btw, I thought you didn’t like missions. San Juan Capistrano is really one of the loveliest missions around. I look forward to meeting you too. 🙂
Glad to came around! BTW, with your Flashback Friday challenge, do you suggest we just create a post on our blog and link back to yours or do you have another suggestion? I think I would like to give it a try. Sitting at San Elijo State Beach for so long makes it tough to write new and interesting posts, so I think a collage of photos from the past would be fun. Let me know your thoughts. 🙂
Really? You gonna make one. So far, I only have a pitiful single entry for it. BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Post it to your blog, then let me know if you do create one.
Hi, Rommel! (hehehe). I haven’t been here for some time (or anywhere, actually) and I see this and I am blown away! You’ve been doing wonderful things with your blog, huh, and it looks amazing. Galeng, galeng!
Thanks so much for your very generous comments in my blog. You’re welcome but YOU are the one who did this. You do love blogging and it shows. Here’s to more success for you in the new year. 🙂
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Tita buds in the house! Glad, glad, so glad to hear from you, tita buds.
If you can, my next post is my 200th. Hoping you can come by for it.
WE MISS YOU!
For one, this is the first time that there is ZERO word on this post. Not even any caption to accompany what the picture entails. Plus, most of the images are not specifics nor actuals, and just random images. I know what you mean though. Something about nothingness that equates to everything.
Just another wonderful example of your diverse photography Rommel. My favourites are the graffiti pic and the last but one – the sky with the windmill. Just love those two!
You never disappoint in your posts.. always showing us new ways to see our world and different ways you have captured those moments in time..I can’t pick a favorite here as they are all equally good.. Ok, the candle shot !
Fab slideshow. Love the fountain and the sky and windmill shots. Just went through the comments to find out why ‘Zilch’! Still don’t get it though 🙂
Where are these shots taken? That Marilyn statue looks very similar to the one that was in Chicago for a big part of 2012. I wonder if it is the same one
You never disappoint Rommel! They’re all wonderful in their own right, couldn’t pick a favorite.
If ever on the East Coast…..Niagara Falls, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Boston, Toronto……lots here. Would love to see what you’d see through your lens…..
Excuse me, zilch !? The word must have a new meaning:-). Out of this world photographer, super stunning (I’ve run out of adjectives). Thanks for sharing.
My sort oh images – but you’re a photographer (I’m a snapper). Lovely shots. I’m in London in the chilly winter, having left San Diego yesterday. These remind me of happy memories of California with a camera in my hand…
Oh the Manilyn Monroe shot is my fave! 🙂

Get there!!!! The windmills are awesome! And don’t forget to go up the Aerial Tram while there’s still snow. If not, spring will be lovely.
marilyn and clouds… such a beautiful shot!
Something’s not adding up here, because these images are worth a million bucks. Nice!
Ahihihihi … 😀 Thanks Angelia, that’s a lot coming from a real photographer.
All are so beautiful– the rock, sea, sky, clouds, sun, birds… The first one is very poetic. Thank you, Rommel!
…. and they don’t even know it. 😀 Perhaps a part deux in the future, maybe. 😀
🙂 deux would be perfectly beautiful. Hope the future will be there soon.
It’s amazing the places graffiti artists can maneuver to show off and make their presence known!
Coming up to a computer near you. 😀

San Juan Capistrano convinced me, definitely changed my whole perception about Missions. I went to 5 Missions in under a month.
