The Sophomore Slump is checking in to wish you a happy happy holidays!
It’s been awhile since my last post, so here is my last quarter’s update …
My favorite was our 3-day trip to Sapporo in Hokkaido, an island to the northernmost part of Japan.
There we experienced winter wonderland, drank beer and ate delicious seafood.
Speaking of seafood…
My work had a fishing trip during the fall.
During Christmas, I felt very blue …
… when I went to witness the Blue Cave Illumination in Shibuya.
My night was also bright when I visited the Electric Town of Akihabara.
Furthermore, I went back to Asakusa …
This time during the night.
I got to the top of Japan’s iconic Tokyo Tower.
Back in the cold, we got to see an Ice Cave – a side trip after seeing Lake Yamanaka…
This is Lake Yamanaka…
… where people can get a good view of Japan’s iconic mountain, Mt. Fuji.
And lastly, we went to Tokyo Disneyland.
I hope, but can’t promise, that I will make individual posts for some of these travels. Until then, I hope you had a Merry Christmas and I wish you all a Happy New Year!
Amazing!! The snow and seafood!!!!!! Really beautiful! I’ve never gone fishing before, looking so relaxing and fun. Thanks for sharing your lovely moments and have a great New Years!!! 😊😊😊
Happy New Year… being over the International Date Line, you may already be there (first light is just illuminating our snowy mountains here in WV). -Oscar
