The Scientist

Come up to meet you.
Tell you I’m sorry.
You don’t know how lovely you are.

image

I had to find you.
Tell you I need you.
Tell you I set you apart.

image

Tell me your secrets and ask me your questions.
Oh let’s go back to the start.

image

Running in circles, coming up tails.
Heads on a silence apart.

image

Nobody said it’d be easy.
Oh It’s such a shame for us to part.

image

Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh take me back to the start

image

_________

I was just guessing at numbers and figures.
Pulling the, puzzles apart.

image

Questions of science, science and progress.
Do not speak as loud as heart.

image

Tell me you love me.
Come back and haunt me.
Oh and I rush back to the start.

image

Running in circles, chasing our tails.
Coming back as we are.

image

Nobody said it was easy.
Oh it’s such a shame for us to part.

image

Nobody said it was easy.
No one ever said it would be this hard.

image

I’m going back to the start.

  1. You had me fooled, Rommel (that’s not so hard!). I was ready to hand you a tissue or offer the shoulder.
I like your lyrical side (in images 🙂 )

  2. “let’s go back to the start…” right on photographs for that line! how you made what looks like random and rather boring things look so appealing…genius! 🙂

        • Katy Perry is gorgeous looking, but yeah dot dot dot. At least you get to see Janelle Monae perform. Hmmm… Maybe not bad afterall. I would do that just for the chance to see Janelle Monae.

          • Yeah I didn’t even know janelle was going to perform until the day of the concert, when I picked up the physical tickets. It was a wonderful surprise! She’s an incredible dancer in addition to being an incredible singer an composer.

Don't be shy to say hi.
