The first of my Los Angeles, California visit.

The Entrance

There’s plenty of these around the temple.

More of the temple in pieces …

The Hsi Lai Temple.

There are also a handful of words of wisdom scattered around to read and learn from. There’s one included in the slideshow below.

Want more of temples and shrines …

tokyobling’s blog showcases temples, shrines, people, religions, fashion, city landscape, events, arts, displays, exhibits, and everything that represent Japan. My favorite …

You have got to check this blog. Be impressed and amazed with the large images. It’s Japanย at the tip of your finger!

    • Oh YES, YES, YES. Not so many people go there. There is this California travel book I bought and this temple is nowhere to be found in any of the pages!!!!! Outrageous!

It’s actually good for me that not so many people go there so then I can easily take pictures of the temple whatever way, angle or width or length I please. And, no spectators getting in the way. ๐Ÿ˜€

Another plus, it’s open to public everyday!

    • Oh yes, the buddhas are amusing to look at. Just imagine how they kneel to the big one and smile at these little ones. Hehe ๐Ÿ˜€

You have two of your own. They must be amusing to look at as well. If you have posted images of it. Let me know.

  1. Isn’t is wonderful to be able to take pictures of a place without a lot of people in the way?

Anyway, those statues…naalala ko si Sammo Hung! ๐Ÿ˜€

Don't be shy to say hi.
