Indulge: Dig in for an African Cuisine

This is Tsebhi Dorho. A famous Eritrean dish which is a specially prepared chicken sauce with red pepper flavored spice, sauteed onions, seasoned butter and other exotic spices, served over injera (the brown sponge-like bread).

Ordered from Asmara in City Heights in San Diego. Served with no utensils. You simply just … dig in.

Visually entertaining images. Laughable references that sometimes don’t even match to the what!? is he talking about. Out-of-nowhere thinking out-loud psychobabbles.  The long, straight-up (or is it?), weird titles. Funny anecdotes and spook suggestions. Not to mention the unconventional, unique use of placing Categories. Mike is Happy. Relatively. a HELOL of a humor blog.

  1. Even if I don’t eat meat, I appreciate the color and the presentation, nonetheless! I’m curious on the brown sponge like bread…looks like pancake! Is it sweet or taste like bread? LOL….very interesting!

Have a great week and thanks for the post…I enjoyed looking!

    • Oops, I’m no good being a food critic esp. when it comes to taste. I’m just a hungry man, ravenous for something new. 😀

Basically, the bread is your utensil. You eat with your hands, dipping it to the sauce.

  2. I love international food. This dish sounds and look delicious. I wish there’s one close by that makes stuff like this. You’re blessed to travel the world , experience the various amazing cultures, their people, the exciting landscapes, and yes, the yummy delicacies….thanks for sharing that world with us…

Don't be shy to say hi.
