I’m on top of the world!

Can you see me up there? My arms are stretched out like those picture poses they have on facebook. I guess they do that to show how much they are embracing the moment. I think mine is only a tad bit more justified.

Seriously, this felt higher than on an airplane. Even scarier. Er? maybe neck and neck … but with a strong wind and drizzling rain, it sure got my knees trembling.

Being on great heights always reminded me about that Filipino superstition they lied to children with saying “They might get pushed by a demon.”

Obviously, those other two don’t have those words weighing on their heads.

I did had my feet on the edgen though. So if the demon tried to push me, I could at least have some time to react and fight back.

I’m just joshing. I don’t believe in such silly superstition, why else I agreed to go there. By the way, that is the Aqueduct of Vanvitelli.

What about you? Where and how did you face your fear of heights?

    • Hello there, titabuds!
Hehe! I was going to invite a female on this small escapade but I remembered her trembling from jumping off of a 2-feet height. I could only imagine her freight if she ever did get up there with us.

Mas maganda yung sa Camiguin mo. 😀

  1. I conquered my fear of heights by not saying no to any adventure that involves heights. I always say to myself that if a ride is perfectly safe, then there is no way for me to fall. 😀

  2. Yeah, I know. It’s just that it’s hard for a lot us to trust that person screwing ropes telling you you’re safe as you shake your legs, being anxious to get it over with or having that awful vertigo feeling. The one thing you really have to focus on is the reward after you faced your fear…. 😀

    Thanks for the comment.

  3. Wow, congrats on conquering your fear. Way to go! I have fear of heights too and I’m not sure if I can do this thing. This is very cool but really, how did you manage to spread your arms up there? Congrats again! If this me doing it, I consider this as an achievement!

By the way, did I mention I like your shoes? haha

Don't be shy to say hi.
